Hi all, this is the first time I've tried anything like this so bear with me as it develops. I hope to use this to share with you all reviews on films, music and books I come across and think others should enjoy/avoid as well as being shamelessly self-promoting and using it to help my own work reach a wider audience.

I'll probably occasionally post on here examples/extracts from the novel/short story I'm working on at the time and ask for feedback just to get an idea what people think of my stuff. I know of course that not everyone will enjoy or even want to read the kind of stories I write but a good way to find out if you might appreciate it is to think about the stuff you read already. I don't imagine for a moment that as a new writer my work has either the polish or style of the following writers but if you enjoy them then you might just like my work! So, if you read Poppy Z brite, Laurel K hamilton, Tanith Lee or to some degree Anne Rice, then it might be worth you having a read! I'd love to know what you think!
